But it's fine because Kuroshitsuji is there to make up for it.

Besides which, it was nice to see their background a bit. Maylin looks like she was trying to kill Ciel when Seb caught her. Oh god and FINNYYYYYYYYY. BALDO! IN A BATTLEFIELD. COVERED IN BLOOD.

NRRGH.

And as usual, the art of this series is gorgeous. Even while Naruto and Bleach and the like continue to decend down the path of spimplicity, Kuroshitsuji maintains high standards and absolute beauty in every pannel.

I THINK THAT'S ACTUALLY SEBASTIAN COMING BACK, OR MAYBE SOMEONE WHO SEBASTIAN SENT FOR VIA THAT OWN (maybe someone with food and "provisions", because Sebastian thinks of everything?).

AND I'M SURPRISED THAT, WHEN IT COMES TO THE PASTS OF THE SERVANTS, THE ANIME ACTUALLY GOT IT RIGHT (because I remember that we hadn't known anything about them from the manga when the anime mentioned them). MAYBE TOBOSO WORKED CLOSELY WITH THE ANIME MAKERS OR SMTH?
