Badass Welsh people? Umm...Lawrence of Arabia was born in Wales apparently. Tom Jones, in an "I'm 70 years old and can still get girls" kind of way. Plus every member of the Welsh rugby team is probably a badass.

Wales himself is kinda impressive, in that he managed to live in a house with England, Scotland and the Irelands without jumping off a cliff or something... I have thought waay too much about this orz

Well... after seeing that voice-post, I like you more than ever. And I'm already a devoted fan due to your best Hetalia fics and art EVER, so... go figure.

Actually, your speech pattern in the vid reminded me a bit of Eddie Izzard's, especially when you spoke about Wales. THAT'S A COMPLIMENT! As in a gold-medal rating one. E.I is my fave comedian ever. Seeing him live this month, EEEEEE...!!!

Um, excuse me whilst I just re-insert my brain...

Anyway, you do accents a million times better than I do... It's really wierd, because I CANNOT do ANY accent deliberately (apparently my Scottish one sounds Jamaican, whilst my Jamaican sounds Swedish... And I've only ever heard two people speak with Swedish accents, as oppsoed to having listnd to Bob Marley and Billy Connolly all my life...). Unless you do the old trick of "beer can" in an English accent sounding like "bacon" in Jamaican... which is cheating.
On the other hand, if I hang around with absoloutely anyone who has an accent different to mine (Herts & Essex, incidentally) for more than about 20 mins, I WILL speak like them for the rest oif the day. It's bizarre - when I was six, I spoke with an American accent for two months for no apparent reason (I blame the TV) and spoke English with a French accent whilst in Belgium as I was crap at French. Yet my French accent whilst speaking French was actually praised by a Frenchman. WTF.

As for Welsh accents, I can't imagine them being spoken without visualising the speaker as grinning and/or giggling a lot - The most experience I've had with the accent were two Welsh teachers and Eddie Izzard's imitations and all three were very smiley when speaking. So the Welsh accent equates with cheerfulness in my mind. Very bad stereotypical me.

Ohh, the National Anthem... well, I'm going with both Eddie Izzard and Billy Connolly on this. I HATE IT. I HATE ALL FOUR OF THEM. I love the rest of Britain's ones, but all of dear old England's just suck in my opinion. "God, Monarch, God, Monarch". Nothing whatsover about the people, the land or the history, except a bit of anti-Scottish cack. Even when singing, England and Scotland still can't get on!
Gaaah... but I swear, Charles cnages it to 'Jerusalem' when he comes to the throne, I may leave the country. Just... Ugh. Credit where it's due to Blake as a poet, but... Well once again, see Eddie Izzard.
I thought I might write a new one to make myself feel better... My friend thought I was gonna SING it. Uh, no. Not good. She viewed my potetial performance as a translation to "rape it, kill it and dance on the remains". Well, she wouldn't be far off, but it would be very little worse off for that in my opinion.
