Mum: "The prince is marrying a commoner? Scandal!"
Royal wedding, get in!
Usually I'm kind of apathetic towards the royal family beyond "the Queen's on the money and Charles is a really good source of comedy", but a royal wedding means a day off for the whole country by royal decree! \o/ Awesome! And it means that I might be able to go watch up in London. This aught to be fun!
It's set for April of next year, so all the companies manufacturing commemorative teapots can get started early. XD;;

I'm personally hoping for an autumn wedding, thought the news did say they expect a spring one. Gotta check the Queen's diary lol

*Sigh* Lately the media seems obsessed with the Royal Family... Camilla, Diana, the family holidays, Prince Charles' habits, Harry in the war... Blah.
Just give me a new National Anthem already, dammit.
Still, day off! YAY! Although would be ironic if it landed on one of my free days anyway...
...Teapots. Honestly, I love them, but I NEVER use them. Same as those wee teacups and saucers... Don't I fail at tradition?
