Not boring at all, dear miss (or ma'am or sir, IDK). Alfred's jokes are so childish, they make me smile.
I loved the "Daily Prophet" part and Dracula hosting the Winter Solstice Ball, I can imagine Arthur gossiping about all the things that were wrong in it. Also, Francis 'Yes yes, I am a servant to the world.' made me laugh: I love how over-dramatic he is.
The idea of the Hunters recruiting Alfred is really terrifying. Not only for the damage he would do but also because I doubt Arthur could get over the pain.
I think I've already told you that I love this story but I'll repeat it: I just love this.
