Firstly, akhskjdgh map! I've coloured in some myself, to keep track, and yours is on the dot! As for battle sites in the Middle east, they're dotted around the place, mostly in Jordan and Syria, some in Saudi Arabia. Basically, dotted around Israel. Yes, Switzerland is neutral. The world would end if he wasn't.
Secondly, glad you liked the bit with Finland and Russia. ^^ I was going for coldness and chilly imagery, putting them in a blizzard and all. (Palestine actually doesn't like France too much because he could have stopped England giving all his land away so yeah. He has no issues with shoving a gun in France's face.)

Former Soviets: Belarus is being held back by her government's indecision to get into the war (not that it will stop her for long. She needs to help brother and then they can be marriedmarriedmarried.) Ukraine has been told to stay the hell away from Russia, but again, that's probably going to hold up as long as the Baltics do. (HAVE FUN IN KIEV!) Vietnam's like "oh hell naw, not fighting that stupid American bastard again". She's out until further notice. America is not going to be happy if Cuba joins Russia's side, but Cuba and Canada are also pretty chummy so... he's between a rock and a hard place.
Okay, everyone else in Africa apart from Sudan and maybe Somalia have told the world to screw off, they have their own internal issues. Also, I have no idea how Africa works, being the Western idiot that I am. It's a big orange blob in my head until you hit Egypt or South Africa. As such I have no idea of the political leanings of each individual country. So I cheated. But for the sake of the map, Ireland was talking about the former British Colonies. That way I can screw all of Africa over later if I want, when the former French colonies become not-so-neutral due to the corruption of France's government. <3
