I wonder if all the people who friended me recently knew how much boring shit goes in this journal?

So I sign in to Yahoo this morning and see this:

"A British Airways worker is being questioned by police over terrorist fundraising."

Now, that's all fine and good. Hooray, terrorist arrested, we're all safe in our beds etc etc etc.

But am I the only one that saw "fundraising" and thought "bake sale"?

Seriously, like loads of terrorists gathering in the local town hall or pub garden to buy little cakes that some terrorist mums have baked to raise money to buy the material needed to bomb planes? With some other people running a mini-tea shop in the corner and dispensing coffee and tea in the most Fundamentalist way possible? People milling around little plastic tables, and at the end of the day only the fruit cakes and carrot cakes are left?

I'm sorry, but I lol'd.

Okay, so I haven't read the rest of the article, but the title alone was enough hilarity to persuade me.

It's raining. I don't want to walk back up the hill to go to class. =__=;;

Sigh. Guess I'd better get going.

Well, if we're talking about "fundraising", I'm reminded of those boxes of chocolate bars that elementary school kids run door-to-door to sell. Now imagine terrorists doing that?
