(Amusingly enough, every British person knows exactly what an American means by "corn chips", but it rarely seems to be the other way around (outside of this fandom). Yeah, but it's one thing to have different dialects on other sides of the Atlantic from eachother, and quite another to have the chaps from the next village over being able to identify you from how you say "scones". (psst. If you say it "sc-owns" instead of "scoh-ns", you're from Essex/Sussex. And therefore a prick with too much money and no sense. *says it like that orz*)
