Nice research! The Jewish people have an extremely long history and have been one of the only peoples without a home country to retain their culture throughout the years.

People from the US soundly support Israel in any and all conflicts, but I have to say that after studying up on the subject I feel much more sympathy for the Palestinians who were forced out of the way. What I've never understood is why they can't have a shared state (since Israel is under a democracy, after all) because people of different religions/ethnicities live closely together in relative peace in loads of other places in the world.
