Well, party might a bit of an exaggeration. It was just a hell of a lot of food and a 5-6 hour long lunch with 17 people at the table :D It was basically one of the MANY... 'burial feasts' I guess you could call them, that we traditionally hold for the dead (though few people really follow the tradition as strictly as my folks do nowadays... what can I say, they're dedicated). There weren't presents (*laughs*), but there was booze, and the best home-made white wine I've ever tasted - though, of course, no one went over the line :D
