Pfft, oh no, I'm not denying that. When I did the map for Family Ties I LOOKED THEM ALL UP. And was all "holy shit guys I thought you were supposed to be OVER this colonizing thing, seriously...."
... I almost thought "at least we don't have any" but oh damn we do, actually. Only they were actually conquered by Russia when he took us from Sweden and we just sort of got them with the independence... Finnish Lapland and Åland that is, we're just NOT LETTING GO of them, seriously. Especially Åland, it's ridiculous because they are all Swedish there and want to re-join Sweden but Finland is just all ">____> NO! MINE! GO AWAY SWEDEN." I... don't really even know what the heck are we doing with it. o__o;;
Ahaha, he... kinda is. And to be honest, I was totally blown when I realized how many he has as well. God... but I suppose that was one thing about the Pacific War against Japan, because America was all "HEY WAIT THOSE ISLANDS ARE MINE WHAT THE FUCK!" I first heard about it when I met this Puerto Rican online and I was like "Puerto Rico... uhh... sounds familiar but where the hell is that? >___>" and she was like "oh it's a USA colony in the Caribbean" and I was like "ooohh, I see---- WAIT WHAT THEY HAVE COLONIES?" And then meeting all these Philippines over the net and going "whaaat the US had colonies?? WHAAT WAIT the Philippines are... kinda BIG they are like the size of Japan, USA had all of THAT?"
