What's sad is that if an organization popped up saying, "Hey! Donate to help the United States of America get out of debt!" most people wouldn't look at it twice :^ I'd be gung-ho for it, but the general American population...eh, not so much. Friggin' Reagan...
BUT IF IT'S A TINY ISLAND RANSACKED BY MAMA NATURE. Then yes, we will pour our all into funding hero-times for a place most Americans have never even heard of. Or if it's New Orleans, and even then not everything's back to normal.
