Well Aussie you should have listened in class. ^^ Besides which England is not a nice teacher. He would bring back the cane if he could.

Seriously though I did questions like that when I was... geez, back in year 10, so I was like 15.

The bit I'm questioning is the specifically Britain part. I'm used to everyone blaming France.

Eh, America and England also signed that treaty (which I have to admit was a pretty mean treaty. It was Austria that started it! Or Serbia! Germany just joined to help! It would be like America taking all the credit for winning the war even when France, England and Russia were all there first. Oh wait.)

We're still working our way up to causes of WW2, we're still in the "peacekeeping" part of the 30s. Which, for a topic area called "peacekeeping" involved an awful lot of rearmament. Whatever.

Rearmament for the Germans, a lot of pointless appeasement from Britain, and France smacking his head on the table going "not again". Meanwhile, America's market crashes and sends Germany into even more of an economic spiral into oblivion than before, and Hitler gets votes.

I shouldn't find post-Versailles, pre-WW2 France as amusing as I do. I really shouldn't. I know vaguely the causes, just not in any detail. And Hitler's rise to power I do know! We did it in GCSE! We're just only now starting his foreign policy and the like.

Hitler's foreign policy: take over Austria yaaaaaay! Oh I'm sorry Czechoslovakia were you here? Not anymore, you're Germany's bitch now! Rhineland GIMMIE.Oh Pooooolaaaaaand~!

... it's been a few years since I did GCSEs so I may be recalling this weirdly.

Nearly finished! I'm doing IB.

... I have no idea what IB but then again it is 1:30 |D

And hahaha same /brofist? You're just doing your topics differently to me then, lead up to Hitler was.... last term, from memory. /onto Leni now~

The official name for it is "Hell".

/brofist. We started off with Lenin and the Tsar lead up, as well as WW1 stuff, Spanish Civil War and the Chinese Civil War. Peace keeping has technically been going on all year, but because of how the timetable is, it's taken us almost a year to study less than three decades. Lenin and Russia is cool~ One of my fave topics.

Oh really? Idk, I have a teacher akin to a nazgul teaching me modern, that's pretty hellish.

.../sulk We never got that. We've just done germany germany germany. WW1, the period leading up to ww2, hitler's rise to power, now Leni Riefenstahl, and then.... the war in the pacific if I remember right. Year 11 was Meiji restoration, american civil war and fuck. brain dead. um um the whole, black power, martin luther king period. /failsforever

We never get the cool topics.

IB is an international program dedicated to murdering every shred of hope that it is possible to find in the teenage soul. But bad teachers for awesome subjects suck. :(

AAAAAAAH Pacific War, so jealous. I hope we do that when we get further into WW2, I want it so badly. We did a bit on American history in GCSE, but it's not our focus since we're an English school in Hong Kong.

...ew. That.... sounds sucktackular. /petpet And it's not so much she's bad, it's more... the shrieking.

Ooooooh okay, this makes more sense now orz. I though you were in Oz itself orzzz I'm kinda eh over it though. My school tends to focus on one period and not much else. Spanish civil war sounds interesting, and I'd love to do something on facist Italy. Mostly because it'd kill two birds with one stone and mean I could finally do that facist!Romano account I wanna do.

I'm an Australian, but I've lived in Hong Kong for few years now, because of my dad and holy shit I just realised I'm talking to another Australian HI! Sydney girl?

We get like one lesson on Facist Italy, because we're behind on stuff... The world does need more Facist Italy though, so if you want I could send you the million and one handouts my teacher gave us on it. Spanish Civil War was much less interesting than a short description would lead you to believe.

Ahh I seee. Ad yeah, kinda. Close to. More Wollongong region actually. Heys!

Still. More then we get. Though admitedly, reading tons on Hitler is amusing, when you find out he was best at Gymnastics and sucked at math.... oh and the propoganda. Some of it just makes you go wut.

.... I may just like S.C.W. simply because idk, I like broken spain, and facist Spain and Romano |D
