Ah yeah, I know about the English name thing! Was just curious about the Chinese part of it actually. xD I figured shui would be water but there's like a million words that are pronounced li. (... I dunno any that mean "man" though. I know I'm a dork but if you have the characters, i can has em?)

先生 "xiansheng" : mister, sir (as you might notice, it's written like "sensei" but the meaning is a bit different) 老師 (or 老师 in simplified Chinese, but Taiwan uses traditional) "laoshi" : Master, teacher (so it's closer to the meaning of "sensei")
Both are translated as "sensei" in Hetalia but Himaruya made a note that they are actually xiansheng and laoshi in Chinese.
