In other news France was amusing. His laugh is spot on and was just creepy enough to make me recoil and then burst into hysterics. I'm happy enough with that.

Also, can anyone tell us what America's accent is? It's not what we were expecting this side of the pond.

England's voice made me laugh really hard. And then I thought about James from Pokemon. And then I thought about that episode of him with breasts. And then I cried because I couldn't unsee England with breasts. B| I knew you'd flip out at the "Britain" thing. Most of the rest of the fandom has too.

(But that Captain Hook line was priceless.)

I love France's voice. That is all.

Their version of America is using a standard American accent without regional inflections. That's uh... that's kind of what most people here sound like, especially in cities, for the majority of their speech. Regionally there will be pronunciation differences on a few words here and there but otherwise it's kind of like that.

(Unless you're from a very specific place where the accent is usually thick. But then people hear you from and mile away and are like "haha I know where you're from!")

America is...American. Best they can do with all the accents here. It'd be pretty hard to pinpoint one, I think.

Well in Japanese he was voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama. Might not be so camp but it's basically just as gay in Japan's style. *didn't even listen to it yet*

Okay, he sounds camp. But I love it. I'll need some time to get used to Britain though (But then again, we Mexicans are so ignorant on the subject that we still use England/Great Britain/United Kingdom as synonyms. Isn't that sad?)

Gods, I could've killed myself when I heard it. The accent was just about tolerable, but the voice....Aaarrrgggh. Just NO. WHERE IS THE IGGY GROUCHINESS??? Did they pay NO attention at all to how they'd done the Japanese voices? Just... ugh. I could'nt even listen to it all at once, I had to keep stopping and changing the screen...

Oh. Oh dear. That was...pretty bad. Like you said, it's like they took James from Pokémon and made him gayer. Plus his accent slipped in a couple of places. I kinda knew before that that I was going to prefer England's voice in Japanese, but still...

I liked America's voice though (YAY, political incorrectness D:).

No really. I was fine with laughing at the other dubs, but I just needed this accent done good. AND CAMP JAMES VOICE WUT. (Just because he does naughty things with Port doesn't mean he doesn't sound manly, mmkay? I mean Pokemon's James? Really.)

I wish they kept referring to him as England, tho B| It would be easier and 'Britain' just sounds weird and that means it also includes his bros, who I'm not sure would be too okay with that. >.>

But France made that clip. I mean, I always liked him, but now he's on the fave character list. That 'hon hon hon hon' laugh was just right and then 'When you're done releasing sexual tension...' I admit I lol'd pretty hard. I can't wait for the rest of his lines 8D
