I do so love to listen to Welsh... even if it does sound like, in the words of my dad, "throat infection gone horribly wrong".

.... Mostly it also makes me sad, because the Welsh guy who I used to see every week in the Co-op died recently... he was a lovely old man, always greeted me with "Bore da" and a smile. He tended to forget his walking stick next to the till...

I was never sad over the death of my great Aunt, but thinking I won't hear him cheerfully babble at me in Welsh ever again... kind of makes me want to cry. I guess this is grief.
