And thank you! We trained them to keep calm because they're just easier to handle like that. Tilly does tend to be a little more excitable though, since we didn't get her from a puppy.
Aaah, your dogs are so cute! I love how in the panned-out shot Jim just has such a deadpan "whut?" expression. Um, I'm guessing you named your Scotland after him?
Random point here, but in the bit where you were glaring down at something (I presume your laptop) and muttering "oh bugger", your expression reminds me of Tarrant Hightopp in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland when he's sitting quietly at the tea-table getting pissed off at Chessur's comment. Just... yeah. I love that film. XD
Umm... do you have a Facebook account? Only I'm not on Plurk or Twitter...
That's kind of his default expression XD The world confuses him. Actually when I named Scotland "James" I didn't even think of the dog, because "Jim" and "James" are different names in my head. They both have the same reason for being called James, though. Jimmy's a West Highland terrier, a Scottish breed, and Scotland is... well, Scotland itself, and Scotland's had 7 kings named James. SEVEN. That's nearly as many Henrys as England's had. It's just madness.
My laptop's been well battered and bits of the plastic are coming off. >>;; Hahaha that's cool I guess? XD
I do, but I prefer not to give it away to fandom people I've not met IRL. It contains my address and everything. No offense meant. I just have people from my church and like my whole family added on there. >>;;
Yeah, the breed / cpontry coincidence was what I was referring to. And let's not even go into the fact that Scotland's King James the VI was also England's King James I...
Ah, that's fine. Well, should I happen to meet you at Expo, would you mind then? I'd like to know if you think my cosplay does Pirate England justice. :) In any case, mine's 'Amy Piratica Kirkland Hurst'.

Date: 2010-09-16 11:39 pm (UTC)Jim's 3 now, bless him. He's only just stopped acting like a teenage boy, chasing everything with legs.
