OH AND YOU KNOW WHAT? THAT SPEECH SCENE AT THE END? THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. THEY FOUND LOGUE'S DIARIES AND HE REVEALED THERE THAT THE PHOTO TAKEN OF THE KING BY HIS DESK WAS JUST A PROPAGANDA PICTURE AND ACTUALLY IT WAS JUST HIM AND GEORGE VI IN A LITTLE BACK ROOM THAT LOGUE HAD REFURNISHED TO BE MORE CASUAL. AND THE LITTLE BIT ABOUT STILL STUTTERING ON THE W? THAT WAS STRAIGHT FROM THE DIARIES TOO.

TALK ABOUT TRUTH BEING MORE AWESOME THAN FICTION.

Ahh, I actually knew about the speech scene. It was marketed as a true story over here any way, and then the papers all came out with extracts from the book/diary with the letters the movie was based on.

Still, it's pretty amazing huh? I think it's quite cute how Logue did all that for him.
