So I was having a conversation with some folks and found that estimations of where Wales was on a map were wildly inaccurate. Now far be it from me to accuse folks of not knowing their geography; I couldn't find Bosnia on a map if you paid me. Still, the only thing that came to mind was this:

I always feel bad for that poor country since theres like us and you guys and and northern ireland and then nobody knows where wales is.

Hehe, I knew where Wales was. I don't even have a problem with Eastern Europe, but I fail at South American Geographie and even worse for Africa ^^

Aww, Wales. *pat pat* I've known where you are since I was like 14, if it helps? ^^

I have a never ending project to memorize all the countries of the world and their locations. xD; I just keep forgetting them after a while. I've found that it's easier when you actually know something about the damn places. I had so much trouble with Africa but now I kinda know something about it so... And I can divide it into parts which is good because North-Africa is totally different from South-Africa, for example and you can pick out the formerly French areas and the formerly British areas and currently Arabic areas and non-Arabic areas... It also helps to be a map-fanatic like me. orz *always needs to check where things are happening when she reads a book or the news or anything* Oh and Hetalia helps too. A lot. 8D

Poor Wales, but he would get mistaken.. a LOT!

But in all honesty I was an idiot as a child and thought that Portugal was an Island somewhere East of England not West and... a lot of Geography fails and then I actually TOOK Geography as a lesson... so yeah... *sweatdrop*

But I have to say the biggest Geography fail I've EVER heard was when someone mistook Denmark as being the Capital of IKEA...

Ahahaha, I knew where Wales is because I used to go on holiday there...couldn't tell you where places in Wales are though. My geography is messed up though, I can name a load of places in America but I only have a shaky grasp of Irish geography, which is...kind of shameful OTL
