Aaaaaart dump. Micro-edition.
Apr. 8th, 2010 11:47 pmScanned a few things. Got bored and lazily fail-coloured a few.

In order to write a character properly, I have to design them first, or it just doesn't work in my mind. Hence, we have Chun Hei's various designs. I went with the first one eventually, though the bottom one I picture her as pre-communism/pre-split.
Also, Katherine. Because you won't be seeing her for a while, and I wanted to do a re-design of her hair.

I got bored at babysitting and drew this. Aw, Hong Kong, are you not used to how big Iggy's house is?

Sketchy version of what was originally intended to be a set of drawings of the UK family with their National animals (50% of which are mythical), only I realised that I cannot draw unicorns, deer or lions to save my life.
Then I went and coloured it.

Gaaaah don't look it's horrible the longer I stare at it the more flaws I seeeeeee. /sob
But yeah, Wales is badass and nobody notices.

Well in the beginning he said he was uncertain with how to draw female characters, but obviously he's gotten a lot more confident as time's gone on. Europe is seriously unbalanced on the male:female ratio though. Africa's looking promising, though, with most of the Nations there being introduced as girls (eg. Kenya and Zimbabwe) and damn it if I only ever see India as a girl.
