Comics and Doodle Dump!
Apr. 16th, 2010 11:44 pmLe gasp, Pidge, you actually put a small amount of effort into art work and didn't just give up and get bored?
Why yes, yes I did. Because this is me "revising."
Uhuh. Sure.
Presenting, Israel's 6 day war.

True story. I kid you not, I lol'd when I heard this in class. Really hard. People stared.
And now comic number two; less to do with studying and more because I thought it was funny.
British Superstition.

Never walk under a crow's nest. They're terrible luck.
How to tell the kind of luck you get from a group of magpies: "One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl and four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret, never to be told." You can add the extra "eight is a kiss, nine is a wish, ten is for a chance that should not be missed" if needed.
So many superstitions. I didn't have her break a mirror if only because it is the breaker of the mirror that receives the bad luck (and 7 years of it too!) and therefore would backfire on her. The stuff she's doing just curses the house.
O u crazy Brits. I'm curious. You! People of the internet! Share with me your weird superstitions!

Doodle dump. Not much to say really. Mostly scenes from Family Ties or drabbles (ahaha I had fun with the expressions on the South American's faces) CANDE I CANNOT DO JUSTICE TO YOUR PORTUGAL HE'S NOT MANLY-YET-PRETTY ENOUGH /SOBS FOREVER. For her awesomeness go here to her journal:
candesceres
Please just ignore that France and Scotland one it fails so hardcore. >>
The song Ireland's singing (warning, audio starts immediately) is really pretty and got stuck in my head no end. But I can picture North singing it when he's sitting all alone in his cell.
And on that note, I go to bed. Ciao <3

Date: 2010-04-24 04:30 pm (UTC)Awww, the car of disaster <333 -loves it- AND WALES AND ENGLAND BEING SO SUPERSTICIOUS XDD Oh, Aine, I love you so much ;w; and she holding North and singing awwww <3 lovelybeautifullovely!
The comic with James and Arthur made me "LMAO" XDDD I didn't know that, poor guys, such effort
and blackmail. Also, the tension between Port and America is so awesome 8D~ I need more of this!
Here at the shore in PerĂº, I guess we have the same superticious thingies, also the thing with the black cat (though my grandma has one and I love it), buuut, I'm sure in the Andes and in the jungle there are more of them. Like, in the Andes, if you're in the late night walking and you find a baby crying alone in the floor, you shouldn't pick him because it's an evil poltergeist and will take you to hell. Also, the fear to the pishtacos who are evil people from the outside wanting to kill you all, but this one is a supersticious that grew up since the colony times (Daddy Spain scared us) and was reforeced due to the terrorism in the 80s and 90s. I really don't know about the jungle 'cause I fail D: but in some years I'll learn more <3
