Oh Falklands, with all those people fighting over you, it's no wonder you became a little egocentric. Wales spreads the sheep-love gene once more. He's got something boarding on an inferiority complex, certainly in comparisons to other colonies, since he never really grew anything or had anything interesting. The oil's made him more confident in himself, but he's overcompensating now.

And the hair curl is sentient. Sentieeeeeeeent. And represents the Jason Islands.

Now for a drabble;

“England, come on.” America tried again, but only got a vicious glare for his trouble. “You said you’d quit!”

“And I did!” England yelled, livid and desperately clinging to the all he had left. Falklands looked between the two of them, but kept his arms wrapped around England’s waist. “I’ve not conquered anyone in over 50 years!”

America sighed. “Yeah, but you’re meant to give up the ones you did conquer-”

“You will have to pry this one out of my cold. Dead. Hands.” the former-empire snarled, teeth bared and eyes flashing like a lion protecting it’s last cub. “Argentina couldn’t do it. Spain couldn’t do it. And by god, America, if you try anything I’ll-”

“Woah, okay, okay!” Alfred held up his hands defensively. “I’m only trying to help you quit Iggy. You can’t support them with your economy like it is.”

“I don’t see why you use plurals; I gave back Hong Kong.” Came the bitter mutter. Alfred pouted, resisting the urge to groan. Why did Arthur always have to blame him for everything? His former-coloniser’s voice turned desperate. “Just let me keep the one, please. I can’t just- just…” Falkland’s wriggled slightly in England’s over-tight grip. “He’s still only a child, Alfred, look at him.”

Falklands, by some country’s standards, would probably be considered an adult, looking just past 14. He wasn’t innocent like a child, no Nation was, but he still stared at America like he was the monster in the closet.

Alfred tried one more time. “This is the last one, England, if you let him go you’ll be finally clean.”

England simply spat something in an ancient language Alfred didn’t understand, and all of a sudden the taller Nation found himself suspended upside-down in the air. “Woah! Gah! Ahh, put me down!”

The magician glared green hate at him, and the invisible force carried him backwards, out of the house and into the rainy afternoon outside, finally depositing him in a puddle next to his car.

“Oww…”

Canada stood next to the car with his umbrella. “Better luck next year, Al. He’ll let go eventually.”

LOL WELL I DIDN'T REALIZE IT'D BE SO MUCH WORK. XDDDDD Seriously, I was expecting like maybe two per country. Turns out each one has like a dozen.

... And I just realized that I haven't marked Port's yet. *blinks stupidly and wonders if she's seriously going to do that and considering what a no-life she is, she probably is*

Lol, kinda? Idk can you call them colonies when they are pretty much stuck on us. And I don't think it's bad. xD People kinda talk about it as if it is. And it kinda IS too, only it belongs to four different countries and hasn't bothered to ask for independence. The Sámi people live there and they never really had any sort of unified government or anything what with being more like a collection of nomad tribes and all so. And yeah, Åland is totally Sweden and Finland's kid. xD Or maybe he/she's more like Sweden's little brother who Finland adopted and won't let go of. Because they really aren't Finnish, they are just Swedes whose islands belong to Finland. On paper. It's like over 90% Swedish. (I just checked, they DO pay taxes but lol we give 'em more state subsidies than they pay us in taxes so they are seriously just costing us money and they just pretty much hate us. Seriously, they are big on tourism there but a Finn dares to go there and tries to speak Finnish? THEY KICK HIM OUT. But can we just let them leave and go back to big bro Sweden? Nah~ >_>)

Oh right, Lapland isn't quite that simple, because it's... well the Sámi lived there originally but then the Finns came along and then the Russians and the Norwegians and then Sweden sort of... slipped himself in there too. (... sounds dirty) So now it's like... everybody's there, the Sámi, the Finns, the Russians, the Norwegians and the Swedes. (And the Kvens and the Tornedalians but they are pretty much Finns who just got stuck in Norway and Sweden respectively and have been hanging out there since then and are now legally their own peoples.) It's a huge mess anyway. But we do know it was originally Sámi-area ("Sápmi" as they call it, "Lapland" is actually a kind of derogatory name so you kinda shouldn't use it anymore unless you talk about the Lapland-provinces.) ANYWAY. Sorry for the essay. xD It's just a huge mess. It wouldn't be so bad if the Sámi had been given equal rights from the start but they weren't so it's sort of... a huge mess. (And I'm not even starting on how the Kvens and Tornedalians were treated too.) But we try to be nice to them now. orz Sámi-languages are official languages in all the Sápmi area now. Well, I'm not sure about the Russian part, I have no idea.

*deep breath* But you know, I'd just LOVE to see a Sápmi-tan in Hetalia. =3= I've seen an official sketch with Finland in Sámi-clothes but that just pisses me off and it probably would piss the Sámi off even more if they saw it and maybe some of them already have, idk, it's not like they don't use the internet too but I haven't seen any in the fandom yet.

Actually I do have this rough concept art for a Sápmi-tan... I just never finished it... and I couldn't decide which area dress to use for her.

Lapland sounds kind of like an orgy. Only not. Only very much so. Poor Sámi. What is is with people never giving the natives equal rights?

Lol, totally Port. Although I'm not sure which ones he still has. But he was EVERYWHERE. Damn he used to be badass. xD And now... everybody just forgets about him wtf.

Uh, I have NO IDEA. Geez. They hate us, they give us next to nothing, they have their own government and culture and have practically NOTHING to do with us. I seriously don't know. We can't even use them for defence purposes because the area is demilitarized and the inhabitants are exempt from military service. Although I think they did help us voluntarily to fight Russia back in WW2 times. Actually one of my friends suggested that it's because the islands would be such a good strategic point to use against us which is a good point, but then again I don't think Sweden would try to invade us anymore. Russia then again No, I'm NOT starting with Russia today.

*sob* I have no idea. D: And damn it I hate the fact that we just tried to shove our culture down their throats too until the 90's. It's just so lame. orz And trying to prove we weren't related to them (which we are) because they were considered an inferior race back in the... more nationalistic times.

Pfffft when you put it that way... IT'S TOTALLY TRUE. xD;;;; Because we DO do that, mostly for tourism. Or the Finns in Lapland do it, pretend they are Sámi because it's cool nowadays and all the tourists expect it and can't tell the difference. And the real Sámi are like ".... >__> GTFO, Finland."

It's just depressing what people do to each other, eh? England's got problems with immigration but nothing to do with native peoples being oppressed (unless you count the random hate on ginger people. JEALOUSY OF THE AWESOME I SAY!) The world is weird.

Whoah. First I was like "O.O;;; that'd be scary" and then I was like "omg THE PLOT BUNNIES". Someone needs to do that, I don't care who.

And oh I know. >__> It is depressing. And lol whut ginger hair is AWESOME.

I really really feel bad for the Sámi people. But not that much for the Ålanders. xD; They are just rich, spoiled, privileged bastards anyhow. *cough stereotypes* No really, they have no worries over there really. The only "oppression" they have to suffer is three years of compulsory Finnish studies at school. They hate it, I tell you. xD;; But we have the same with our compulsory Swedish studies so they can just shut up already.

Oh, and actually Finland's Swedish people are like Finland and Sweden's child. Ålanders kinda are Finland's Swedes technically, but they are more like real Swedes by culture and dialect and everything so they don't really count. Finland's Swedes live in the mainland Finland and have a totally distinct accent and culture with tons of Finnish influence. Nowadays they even use so many Finnish loanwords that I doubt a real Swede would understand a thing about what they're talking about. Srsly. And mama papa Finland is totally spoiling him/her too... I think they have even been referred to as the most privileged ethnic minority in any European country. Oh and I'm not talking about just a couple of Swedes living in Finland, there are like 300 thousand of them and they have their own flag and everything.

Oh yeah and hey, I almost forgot: Someone else who always draws eyes on her notes? xD YAY. *totally does it all the time* Are you left-handed btw? (Or did you just draw that eye with your left hand?) Just asking because I've noticed that right-handed people tend to start with the left eye and left-handed people with the right eye because it's easier to draw.

I'm right handed, actually, though drawing right eyes is easier for me, this one just happened to be a left one. I do both left and right eyes all over the place.

I always use the wrong ones too, since I end up looking them up on the internet. I have to use the tables on wikipedia in order to spell it out since I don't have a keyboard for it. >>

........ aw FUCK. If I can find it that is. D8 It's called "Wakan" and it's AMAZING for any Japanese/Chinese learner. It's like a text program with incorporated dictionary, you type in romaji and it suggests you Japanese words and translations and it also translates copy-pasted text.

Oh well, if I can't find it, I think there are other freeware like that too... I remember I had one other program before but I prefer Wakan because it has Chinese too and I study both languages. Lemme check around a bit.

Oh, I have a PERFECT idea. I've been there, you know. :''D And I seriously can't live without my loyal Wakan nowadays. It helps me so much. Along with my portable electronic Japanese dictionary with drawing pad for writing kanji. ♥ Those two are like oxygen to me.

Oh yeah, a hint: It took me ages to figure this out but caps-locking/holding shift makes katakana. Otherwise it just turns anything you type into hiragana automatically.
